Budget hospitality leader Travelodge has announced a strategic partnership with Katanox, a travel technology platform, to provide Travel Management Companies (TMCs) with improved access to its 47,000+ rooms across more than 600 hotels in the UK, Ireland, and Spain.
Through Katanox, TMCs can now amend bookings directly, including date changes—a first for Travelodge. The integration also allows for richer room content, including updated visuals and descriptions, giving corporate clients greater choice, visibility, and real-time access to rates and availability.
“This partnership lets us reach more TMCs and offer an even better experience for business travellers,” said Nick Jacobs, Sales Director at Travelodge. “Katanox helps us keep content fresh and ensure a smooth booking journey.”
Enhanced Distribution & Seamless Booking
By linking Travelodge’s back-end systems for booking, payments, and connectivity, the Katanox platform simplifies workflows for travel managers. Travelodge can now extend its distribution reach and connect more easily with corporate travel partners.
Navan, a leading TMC, is the first to benefit from the integration. The company’s users now enjoy access to Travelodge’s improved content and flexible booking capabilities.
“We’re making travel easier for our customers,” said Michael Riegel, CEO EMEA at Navan. “This partnership gives them more control, better rates, and maximum flexibility.”
Paul Beukers, CCO & Co-founder of Katanox, noted the scalability of the collaboration: “As Travelodge continues expanding its portfolio, we’re excited to support their growth with better efficiency in payments and distribution.”
The collaboration marks a significant step in Travelodge’s drive to become more agile, tech-enabled, and appealing to corporate clients.
