Marriott International has officially debuted StudioRes, its new midscale extended-stay brand, with the opening of StudioRes Fort Myers. This marks Marriott’s first venture into the midscale extended-stay market, with over 40 additional properties expected across the U.S. and Canada by the end of 2027.

StudioRes has been designed to provide comfortable, affordable, and convenient long-term stays, catering to business travellers, professionals on assignments, relocation guests, and construction project teams.
Marriott’s fast-to-market construction model allows developers to quickly build and launch properties, making StudioRes the company’s most cost-effective development opportunity.

The newly opened 124-room hotel offers:
- Studio-style accommodations with one or two beds, a lounging area, and a kitchen equipped with a stovetop, microwave, and full-sized refrigerator.
