Marriott International’s landmark luxury property, JW Marriott Ranthambore Resort & Spa, has commenced its first full safari season. The milestone coincides with the official 1 October seasonal reopening of the core wildlife zones across Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan.
Initially launched in June 2026 as the historic 10,000th global hotel in Marriott’s portfolio and the 11th JW Marriott property in India the 127-key resort serves as a luxury eco-sanctuary situated near the park’s perimeter.
Gastronomic Storytelling and Regional Culinary Heritage
Designed by Singapore-based Ashton Design to reflect local architectural heritage, the property’s food and beverage ecosystem integrates regional culinary traditions with sustainable practices:
- Skyloft: Perched 18 meters above ground in towers inspired by traditional forest lookout stations (machan), Skyloft serves reinterpreted heritage recipes from the royal kitchens of Mewar and Marwar alongside a craft cocktail program.
- Roar: The primary all-day dining restaurant offering a curated menu of international and regional specialties.
- Elan: An outdoor poolside venue serving craft beverages, artisanal gelatos, and light bites.
- JW Market: A signature grab-and-go destination featuring artisanal coffees, light fare, and retail selections from homegrown Indian brands.
- JW Garden: An on-site organic kitchen garden supplying fresh produce, herbs, and botanicals directly to the resort’s kitchens and bar program.
Holistic Wellness and Family Programming
The resort features Spa by JW®, a dedicated wellness facility offering personalised, Ayurveda-inspired therapies mapped to each guest’s individual dosha (energy profile). The spa includes six treatment suites, steam, sauna, and jacuzzi facilities, complemented by a 24-hour fitness center and a temperature-controlled swimming pool.
Family traveller engagement is anchored by the Family by JW initiative, featuring the Eureka indoor kids’ club and Replay, an interactive arcade zone with mini-golf and virtual games.
