IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen to its Vignette Collection, marking the brand’s third property in Germany and reinforcing IHG’s commitment to expanding its luxury and lifestyle portfolio in one of its priority European markets.

Located in the village of Eltville-Erbach, nestled in the renowned Rheingau wine region along the Rhine River, the historic property joins Bristol Berlin and Alte Post in Reit im Winkl as part of the Vignette Collection’s growing presence in Germany.

A Historic Gem Reimagined

Owned by Dana Qadir and operated by IHG, Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen is set to undergo a thoughtful repositioning that preserves its unique character while enhancing its appeal to modern luxury travellers. The hotel currently features:

53 rooms and suites

Three restaurants and bars

Nine meeting rooms totalling 380 sqm

A wellness area, with plans for future expansion

The redesign will draw inspiration from Princess Marianne of Oranien-Nassau, the castle’s most famous resident, blending indulgence and heritage with contemporary hospitality.

“Together, we will thoughtfully reposition the hotel, preserving its unique character and ensuring it enhances our collection,” said Mario Maxeiner, Managing Director Northern Europe, IHG Hotels & Resorts.

A Strategic Milestone for Boutique Hospitality

Launched in 2021, Vignette Collection offers independent hotel owners access to IHG’s global enterprise while retaining their property’s identity. With over 50% of its 2030 target already achieved, the brand is redefining boutique hospitality through:

Memorable Rituals

A commitment to ‘A Means For Good’

Distinctive design and local storytelling

“Hotel Schloss Reinhartshausen will become a place where indulgence and hospitality merge in perfect harmony,” said Hevar Berzenji, Owner of the Operating Company.

Facilitated by Feuring Hotelconsulting

The signing was facilitated by Bardo-Maria Feuring of Feuring Hotelconsulting GmbH, who also supported the Bristol Berlin agreement. He noted the importance of preserving heritage while aligning with a globally recognised brand.

“The rich heritage of both hotels will be carried forward within an internationally renowned brand family,” Feuring said.
