IHG Hotels & Resorts, a global hospitality leader, has signed agreements for three new hotels in Saudi Arabia in partnership with Ashaad Company, a key real estate developer. The new properties Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra, and voco Al Khobar Al Andalus will further strengthen IHG’s presence in the Kingdom and support the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Expanding IHG’s Presence
Scheduled to open between 2028 and 2030, these hotels will add over 1,700 rooms to IHG’s growing portfolio, expanding it’s reach in Jeddah and Al Khobar. Under IHG’s management agreements, the properties will provide high-quality hospitality experiences for business and leisure travellers alike.
New Hotels Overview
- InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra: A 326-room luxury hotel in Al Khobar, located next to Al Shubaily Grand Mall. This hotel will offer signature InterContinental service, catering to business and leisure guests in the thriving Dammam metropolitan area.
- voco Al Khobar Al Andalus: A 717-room premium hotel, designed with voco’s distinct character and relaxed elegance. Close to Corniche and key attractions, the hotel will provide modern comfort for business and leisure travellers, bringing voco’s welcoming atmosphere to the Eastern Province.
- Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate: A 700-room lifestyle hotel, set within a dynamic mixed-use development near Al Balad District, Jeddah Central Development, and the Royal Court. It will offer immersive experiences, reflecting Jeddah’s rich heritage and unique culture.

Strengthening Saudi Arabia’s Hospitality Sector
IHG already operates 45 hotels in Saudi Arabia with brands like InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Staybridge Suites, and voco. With 49 more hotels in the development pipeline, IHG continues to support Saudi Vision 2030 by expanding its luxury, lifestyle, and premium offerings across the region.
