Hyatt is set to expand its luxury portfolio in Argentina with the introduction of Casa Duhau, a new addition to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. This high-end hotel, located in Mendoza’s wine region, will offer travellers a unique experience, blending luxury with breathtaking views of the Andes Mountains.
Casa Duhau is a collaboration between Hyatt Hotels Corporation, the Scalesciani family owners of Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt Buenos Aires and the David family, entrepreneurs from Mendoza.
The hotel will be part of Reserva Alto Agrelo, a development covering nearly 1,000 acres, featuring a boutique winery, 116 premium residential lots, and equestrian facilities. Construction is expected to begin by late 2025, with an opening planned for 2027.
Situated in Alto Agrelo, Casa Duhau will be the only Unbound Collection by Hyatt property in Argentina, offering exclusive stays just 30 minutes from Mendoza’s city centre and 35 minutes from El Plumerillo International Airport. Reserva Alto Agrelo will also house Bodega Agrelia, a boutique winery led by esteemed winemakers Michel Rolland and Marcelo Pelleriti, and Casa David – Wine & Horses, an equestrian club with top-tier training and veterinary facilities.
Casa Duhau aims to be an immersive retreat, with panoramic views of the Cordón del Plata mountain range and the Tupungato volcano. Guests can expect luxury accommodation, including 40 private villas and 12 suites in the main building, all designed for ideal privacy and comfort. The hotel will feature signature restaurants, a pool, spa and wellness experiences, and event spaces, including a chapel for weddings.
Juan Francisco Scalesciani, representing the project, expressed excitement about bringing a new level of luxury hospitality to Mendoza, highlighting the seamless fusion of wellbeing and exclusivity. Meanwhile, Rubén David emphasised Reserva Alto Agrelo’s role as a real estate venture, positioning Mendoza as a sought international destination.
Through this expansion, Hyatt continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering world-class hospitality in South America.
