Hilton has announced the signing of two new properties in Italy under franchise agreements with Forimi Italia Spa, part of Gruppo Roscioli. The upcoming hotels include Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo and Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum, set to open in 2026. These additions highlight Hilton’s strong growth in the Italian market, which now includes 109 trading and pipeline hotels.
Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo
The Canopy by Hilton Milan Duomo will deliver a boutique hotel experience in the heart of Milan. Offering 96 guest rooms, the property is located on Via Torino, a popular street known for its bustling shopping and dining options. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s premium amenities, including a restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop bar with panoramic views, wellness and fitness facilities, and both indoor and outdoor pools.
Originally built in the 1950s, the hotel blends modern architectural styles with classic elements, reflecting Milan’s rich culture. Situated within walking distance of major landmarks such as Duomo di Milano, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and Palazzo Reale di Milano, the property is ideal for both leisure and business travellers. Missori metro station, just steps away, connects guests to Milan Central Railway Station and Linate Airport, ensuring convenient access to key destinations.
Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum
The Hilton Garden Inn Rome Colosseum will become the second hotel under the brand in the Italian capital. The property offers 181 rooms with modern amenities such as a restaurant, lobby bar, and fitness facilities, catering to both business and leisure guests.
Located in the centre of Rome, the hotel is within walking distance of iconic attractions including the Colosseum, Domus Aurea, and the Roman Forum. Strong transport links connect guests to highlights such as the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, while Roma Termini railway station is just 1.5 km away. The Rome Fiumicino and Rome Ciampino airports are accessible in under 40 minutes by car, making this property a convenient base for exploring the city.
