Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris has unveiled the results of a transformative three-year renovation, marking the first full refurbishment of its 243 rooms and suites since its celebrated reopening in 1999. Reimagined as a collection of private Parisian residences, the newly designed spaces offer guests a refined and residential experience in the heart of the City of Light.
The renovation, executed with signature discretion and precision, reflects the hotel’s enduring commitment to understated elegance and world-class service. Led by renowned interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon, the project redefines the essence of Parisian luxury, blending classic Louis XVI-style furnishings with contemporary accents and curated artworks.
“We didn’t simply want to provide accommodation; we wanted to create authentic living spaces inspired by the elegance of Parisian apartments,” said Thibault Drege, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris.
A Residential Vision Rooted in Parisian Charm
The redesigned rooms feature expansive layouts, among the largest in Paris, with personal workspaces, curated libraries, and private dining areas. Soft palettes, natural light, and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions evoke the spirit of a Haussmann-style pied-à-terre. Select suites now offer panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower and Parisian rooftops, framed by newly installed French windows and lush balcony gardens.
Technological enhancements include discreet home automation systems, customisable mood lighting, and advanced audiovisual features, all designed to elevate comfort while preserving the hotel’s timeless aesthetic.
Signature Suites: Living in Paris, Elegantly
Three signature suites exemplify the hotel’s new residential ethos:
- The Penthouse Suite: A romantic retreat with three private terraces and uninterrupted views of the Eiffel Tower. Highlights include a green chenille silk sofa, Baccarat sconces, and a gold-leaf ceiling, all bathed in natural light and framed by white orchids and sculpted marble basins.
- The Parisian Eiffel Suite: Designed as a family-friendly apartment, this suite features a primary bedroom and two interconnected rooms, ideal for extended stays. With landscaped terraces, a Calacatta Oro marble fireplace, and Versailles parquet floors, the suite blends Parisian romanticism with modern functionality.
Sarmad Zok, Managing Director of Kingdom Hotel Investments, noted: “This renovation reflects our long-term vision of positioning George V at the pinnacle of global hospitality. It’s a palace that continues to evolve while remaining true to its soul.”
With this transformation, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris reaffirms its place as a beacon of luxury, offering guests not just a stay, but a Parisian address to call their own.
