Accor is thrilled to bring luxury hospitality to the culturally rich region of Rajasthan, offering a mix of heritage, glamour, and ethereal beauty across the city and countryside. On 14 April 2025, Accor and Sukhani Ventures announced an exciting partnership to introduce two iconic luxury brands, Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Sofitel Legend, to Northern India’s beautiful landscape.
Raffles Ranthambore will be an ultra-luxury resort featuring 63 exquisite villas, situated in the renowned Ranthambore National Park. The resort will cater to families, wildlife enthusiasts, and adventurers, combining the beauty of safari with Raffles’ legendary service, including its butler programme, the Long Bar, and a deep cultural connection to the region.
A unique feature will be its 15 luxury tented accommodations alongside suites designed for families, honeymooners, and more. IDEAS Architects and Jeffrey Wilkes will oversee the architectural and interior design to create a palatial yet immersive experience. The resort is expected to open by mid-2027.
Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur will be a 300+ key urban retreat in the Kukas Amer area of Jaipur, celebrating French-inspired luxury infused with the Pink City’s cultural heritage. Offering over 21 acres of intricately landscaped gardens and pools alongside 6,500 sqm of event space, the property is curated for weddings, corporate retreats, and grand occasions. Sofitel Legend will seamlessly integrate local traditions with modern elegance, embracing its residential character. This property is set to debut by late 2028.
Mr. Vikram Sukhani, Chairman and Managing Director of Sukhani Ventures, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating: “We are honoured to partner with Accor to introduce these extraordinary resorts to Rajasthan, each with its distinctive identity, combining glamour, history, and adventure. We look forward to creating unique hospitality experiences in one of the world’s most vibrant destinations.”
Accor’s strategic expansion in Rajasthan reflects its commitment to growing its presence in India. Raffles Ranthambore will join the portfolio alongside Raffles Udaipur and the newly launched Raffles Jaipur, marking its third Indian property. Sofitel Legend Sukh Bagh Jaipur will be Accor’s first Sofitel Legend in the country.
