GlobalStar Travel Management has teamed up with RateHawk, an online booking platform, to offer its partners expanded access to hotel inventory worldwide. The collaboration enhances GlobalStar’s lodging capabilities, benefiting travel management companies (TMCs) and their clients.
Expanding Global Lodging Access
RateHawk provides connections to 320 wholesalers and 130,000 directly contracted properties, ensuring competitive rates through AI-powered recommendation tools. The partnership also broadens travel service offerings, including car rentals, transfers, and train ticket bookings.
Ilya Kravtsov, Chief Commercial Officer at RateHawk, highlighted: “Our platform prioritises competitive rates while offering a seamless booking experience for travel agents.”
Improved Booking Flexibility for TMCs
A key benefit of the agreement is the ability for partners to pre-pay or use a credit limit for hotel bookings, an essential feature for TMCs in certain regions.
Julian Russell, Executive Director of IT and Supplier Relations at GlobalStar, stated: “This partnership closes a gap in lodging accessibility, providing our partners with greater flexibility. The additional API integration allows deeper customisation where needed.”
Strengthening Travel Solutions
With this collaboration, GlobalStar Travel Management reinforces its commitment to offering enhanced travel services while RateHawk expands its reach among corporate travel providers. The new capabilities ensure seamless, cost-effective booking solutions for travel agents and their clients worldwide.
This strategic partnership marks another step in GlobalStar’s mission to streamline global travel management with advanced lodging and transport solutions.
