Hilton is expanding its presence in India with the signing of two luxury hotels at GMR Aerocity, New Delhi, in partnership with GMR Group-led DIAL. This strategic move marks the debut of Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in the country’s capital and introduces a 350-room Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the same location.
Waldorf Astoria New Delhi will offer 150 rooms and suites, elegant dining, spacious event venues, premium wellness amenities, and the iconic Peacock Alley gathering space. Meanwhile, the Hilton Aerocity hotel will provide modern business and leisure facilities, alongside Hilton’s renowned hospitality.
This partnership aligns with Hilton’s broader India growth strategy, aiming to increase its portfolio over the next decade. The hotels will be part of GMR Aerocity, India’s first global business district, featuring world-class hotels, premium office spaces, and top-tier restaurants.
The signing also reflects Hilton’s commitment to expanding its luxury footprint across the Asia Pacific region, with Waldorf Astoria hotels planned in Jaipur, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Shanghai, Tokyo, Xi’an, and Hanoi.
