Radisson Hotel Group has officially opened Radisson RED London Twickenham, marking a new chapter in sports hospitality as the first Radisson RED property located within a stadium. Situated on the south side of the iconic Allianz Stadium, home of England Rugby, the hotel offers 150 design-forward guest rooms, vibrant dining, and seamless access to Twickenham’s celebrated cultural and sporting attractions.
A New Kind of Stadium Stay
Following an extensive refurbishment, the hotel now forms part of the broader Twickenham Experience, which includes the World Rugby Museum, TW2 Health & Fitness Club, and Twickenham Conference & Events. The guest rooms, particularly the Rose and Legend Suites, pay homage to rugby greats, blending bold design, vibrant palettes, and tech-savvy amenities like wireless charging and Chromecast.
“It is a monumental moment to open the first Radisson RED property at a sports stadium,” said Sandeep Kaushik, General Manager. “We’re proud to celebrate Twickenham’s rich cultural and sporting legacy.”
Culinary and Social Energy
The hotel’s Huddle Restaurant offers all-day dining with a globally inspired menu featuring local ingredients. Highlights include:
- True Neapolitan Pizza
- Guinness Afternoon Tea with miniature steak pies and traditional sandwiches
- British favourites like beer-battered fish and chips, steaks, and lasagna
The Loft, located on the mezzanine level, serves as a social and event space with a curated cocktail menu and flexible layout for meetings, celebrations, and presentations. Signature drinks include the smoky-sour mezcal blend, Hugo Spritz, and the non-alcoholic Harvest Highball.
Designed for Experience
Created by Design LSM, the interiors reflect Twickenham’s sporting heritage with deep walnut tones, vibrant reds, and artful nods to rugby legends. Guests also enjoy complimentary access to the TW2 Health and Fitness Club, featuring a gym, sauna, and indoor pool.
“Bringing the Radisson RED brand to such an iconic sports stadium is a significant milestone,” said Adela Cristea, Chief Development Officer, UK, Ireland & Nordics. “We’re proud to partner with the Rugby Football Union and Aimbridge on this groundbreaking project.”
With this launch, Radisson Hotel Group continues to expand its presence in sports and events hospitality, reinforcing its position as a leading player in the UK & Ireland.
