Radisson Hotel Group has announced a major expansion across France, securing a series of high-profile signings and openings in Paris, Cannes, Bourges, and Charles de Gaulle Airport. Backed by strategic partnerships with leading real estate firms such as Covivio and Byron Gestion.
Strengthening Presence in Paris and Île-de-France
Among the standout additions is Banke Opera Paris, A Radisson Collection Hotel, set to open in Q3 2026. Located near Galleries Lafayette and Opéra Garnier, the 90-room property will undergo a full renovation, blending Belle Époque architecture with modern Parisian elegance. Features include a Gustave Eiffel-designed staircase, a 19th-century atrium housing the reception, bar, and restaurant, and wellness amenities in the building’s former bank vault.
Also joining the portfolio is Radisson Blu Hotel, Paris Roissy CDG Airport, scheduled to open at the end of 2025. Positioned directly opposite Terminal 3 and adjacent to Roissy Val train station, the 305-room hotel will offer extensive meeting facilities, upgraded dining spaces, and wellness amenities including a sauna, hammam, and indoor pool. These additions bring Radisson’s footprint in Île-de-France to 11 hotels and approximately 1,700 rooms.
Expanding to the Riviera and Cultural Heartlands
In Cannes, Radisson Resort Cannes will debut in 2026 as an upscale beachfront urban resort. Located in La Bocca, just minutes from La Croisette, the 100-room property will feature direct beach access, landscaped gardens, and sea-view balconies. The resort is being developed in partnership with Byron Gestion.
Further inland, Hôtel Beaux Arts Bourges, a member of Radisson Individuals, will open in 2027 in the historic centre of Bourges. With the city named European Capital of Culture for 2028, the 52-room hotel is poised to benefit from increased tourism and cultural interest.
A Robust Pipeline of Openings
Radisson’s French expansion is supported by a strong pipeline, including:
- Hotel & Spa Amoria La Baule, opening Q4 2025
- Maison Rivoli Paris, A Radisson Collection Hotel, opening winter 2027
- Radisson Blu Hotel, Triangle Paris, opening H1 2027 within the landmark Triangle development
These follow recent openings such as Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel, a reimagined 14th-century mansion in Vieux Lyon, and Radisson Blu Hotel, Montpellier, which brings upscale comfort to southern France. The Group also added Le Relais de la Malmaison, a Radisson Individuals property near Paris known for its charm and serenity.
“France is a strategic growth market for Radisson Hotel Group,” said Elie Younes, Global Chief Development Officer & Executive Vice President. “Our expansion is supported by long-term partnerships and reflects the confidence of our owners in our brands and people.”
