Radisson Hotel Group has introduced its Radisson Collection brand in France with the opening of Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel. Located in the UNESCO-listed Vieux Lyon district, this historic Renaissance property blends luxury, culture, and culinary, marking a significant milestone in Radisson’s European expansion.
A Historic Landmark Reimagined
Dating back to the 14th century, Cour des Loges has long been carved into Lyon’s architectural and cultural fabric. Originally a residence for Italian merchants, later transformed into a Jesuit college, the property became a boutique hotel in 1987, before joining Radisson Hotel Group in 2022. Following a heritage-led restoration, the hotel now stands as a bridge between past and present, set within six Renaissance courtyards.
Luxury Meets Timeless Architecture
Led by Cécile Rémond, Architecte du Patrimoine, the renovation preserves noble materials, historical structures, and rediscovered artefacts, including the 17-metre-high glass roof crowning the central courtyard.
Tom Flanagan, Managing Director Northern & Western Europe at Radisson Hotel Group, shared: “France has long been a strategic market for Radisson. Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel, perfectly shows our promise of exceptional, culturally rich hospitality.”
