MGallery Collection has officially opened its latest property in the Basque Country, Le Talaia Hotel & Spa Biarritz MGallery Collection, a 149-room cliffside sanctuary just steps from the iconic Côte des Basques. With panoramic Atlantic views, a rooftop restaurant by Chef Éric Frechon, and a holistic spa by Cinq Mondes, the hotel offers a refined yet grounded escape in one of France’s most storied coastal towns.
A Tribute to Biarritz’s Spirit
Designed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, the interiors blend neo-Basque style with natural textures and warm tones, evoking the sea, wind, and local heritage. The fully renovated façade by Claret-Lebecq faces the ocean, while a striking lobby artwork by Deux-Cé.
Culinary and Wellness Highlights
Guests can enjoy Basque-inspired cuisine at La Petite Plage, where Frechon’s menu combines regional produce with Mediterranean flair. The rooftop bar serves signature cocktails like the Florena, infused with Espelette pepper, mountain honey, and Patxaran.
The Sanctuary Spa offers treatments rooted in local and global traditions, including the Bizia Signature Ritual and Kobido facial therapy. A dedicated Surf Room caters to wave-chasers, providing board storage and rinse stations.
Signature Experiences and Local Connection
The hotel’s M Moment invites guests aboard a vintage Tiki Combi Van for curated adventures through Biarritz, whether surf and yoga sessions, art trails, or nature escapes, each ending with a gourmet picnic prepared by the hotel.
With 149 rooms, including 8 suites and 20 family rooms, Le Talaia Hotel & Spa Biarritz is designed as a place to reconnect, with nature, culture, and oneself.
