Marriott International has announced a landmark agreement with Kuzu Group to bring the prestigious St. Regis brand to Bodrum, Türkiye, marking the company’s 100th hotel in its Turkish portfolio. The new beachfront resort and branded residences, situated within the secluded Kazıklı Cove, are scheduled to open in 2030 and will provide guests and residents with a refined coastal retreat on the Aegean coast.
The development, named The St. Regis Karya Cove Resort, Bodrum, will feature 138 elegantly appointed guestrooms and a variety of dining options. Guests will enjoy signature St. Regis rituals and the brand’s renowned Butler service, alongside luxury amenities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre, kids club, and dedicated event spaces.
Complementing the resort, The Residences at The St. Regis Karya Cove Resort, Bodrum will comprise 221 one-to-five-bedroom apartments and villas. Designed to deliver an elevated residential experience, the residences will include a lounge, media room, exhibition kitchen, co-working spaces, library, private fitness studios, and a swimming pool.
“This signing reflects our commitment to expanding our luxury portfolio and meeting the growing demand for high-end experiences in Türkiye,” said Jerome Briet, Chief Development Officer, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Marriott International. “Bodrum’s natural beauty and cultural richness make it an ideal location for the timeless elegance of the St. Regis brand.”
Özen Kuzu, President of Kuzu Group, added, “We are proud to collaborate with Marriott International to bring a world-class resort and residences to Bodrum. This project will enhance the region’s reputation as a premier leisure destination and contribute to Türkiye’s position as a global hub for luxury travel.”
The project also marks the second collaboration between Marriott International, Kuzu Group and Servotel, following the successful launch of JW Marriott Hotel Istanbul Marmara Sea in 2022. Servotel’s President Ömer İsvan and Managing Partner Ayla Heyfegil expressed their pride in supporting another landmark development, reinforcing their four-decade legacy in global hospitality consultancy.
Set across a 280,000 sqm site, the resort and residences will offer direct access to pristine beaches and panoramic sea views, while remaining conveniently connected to Bodrum’s historic old town. The city, famed for its ancient ruins, vibrant marina, and upscale dining, continues to attract discerning travellers from around the world.
Marriott’s current footprint in Türkiye includes over 60 operating properties and six branded residences, totalling more than 9,000 rooms across 21 brands. The addition of The St. Regis Karya Cove Resort, Bodrum further cements the company’s commitment to luxury hospitality in the region.
