Maestro PMS has launched Maestro Touch, a tablet-optimised interface designed to transform front desk operations by bringing full property management system (PMS) functionality to touch-capable devices. This innovation marks a significant step in Maestro’s commitment to mobile-first hospitality solutions, offering unmatched flexibility, faster training, and enhanced guest service delivery.
A New Era of Front Desk Efficiency
Maestro Touch introduces a streamlined, touch-based interface built specifically for tablets, allowing hotel staff to manage front-line PMS functions from anywhere on property. The intuitive design simplifies workflows, enabling new staff to get up to speed in minutes without sacrificing the depth of Maestro’s capabilities.
Key features include:
- Check-Out Functionality: Staff can access guest folios, review charges, and generate invoices directly from tablets.
- Digital Signature Capture: Guests can sign registration cards on mobile devices, maintaining consistency and speed across the platform.
- Real-Time Room Availability: Operators can instantly view and assign rooms based on live property updates.
“Maestro Touch has simplified our delivery,” said Kevin Aanstoot, Guest Relations Manager at Tuscany Residence Aruba. “We lead guests to their suites and check them in using just a few buttons. It’s perfect for properties aiming to reduce front desk queues or offer a personal touch.”
Designed for Today’s Workforce
According to Tim Major, President of Maestro PMS, the launch reflects the company’s belief that mobile tools are the future of hotel operations and profitability. “Maestro Touch is designed with hoteliers in mind, prioritising operational needs and aligning with modern workflows,” he said. “Today’s workforce is fluent in touch-based technology, and we’re harnessing that familiarity to build a leaner, more capable front desk.”
