IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming launch of its first Kimpton hotel in Napa Valley, set to open in 2028, bringing the brand’s signature blend of playful elegance and personalised hospitality to one of California’s most iconic wine destinations.
Located between First Street and the Napa River, and steps from the Oxbow Public Market, the new property will feature:
- 123 spacious guest rooms across two timeless four-story buildings
- A rooftop bar and eatery serving local fare with captivating views
- A central courtyard, garden patio, and outdoor spa
- Contrast therapy studios for wellness-focused travellers
Guests will enjoy hallmark Kimpton perks such as:
- Kickstart morning coffee and tea service
- Kimpton Social evening refreshments
- A pet-friendly policy welcoming all breeds and sizes at no extra charge

This announcement builds on Kimpton’s California legacy and joins a growing portfolio of nearly 150 open and pipeline properties worldwide. Recent additions include Kimpton Fredericksburg in Texas, Kimpton Mirador Pacific Grove in California, and Kimpton Coco Palms Resort in Hawaii.
