IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a significant expansion of its midscale conversion brand, Garner, with six new signings and openings across the United Kingdom. This move reinforces IHG’s position in the essentials segment and strengthens its presence in its largest European market.
Launched globally in 2023, Garner has quickly gained traction among travellers seeking quality, affordable stays and among owners looking for strong returns. The brand promises guests the essentials they value most, comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, fresh coffee, and a complimentary drink and snack on arrival, alongside a flexible design and rapid conversion process that appeals to investors.
Joanna Kurowska, VP & Managing Director, UK & Ireland at IHG Hotels & Resorts, commented: “We’re proud to see Garner gaining strong momentum across the UK. Our streamlined conversion process and dedicated support teams enable owners to integrate quickly and efficiently, while guests benefit from a consistent, high-quality experience at an affordable price.”
