IHG Hotels & Resorts is ramping up the growth of its fastest-growing premium brand, voco, with nine new signings and openings across Southern Europe. The expansion adds over 1,000 rooms to voco’s portfolio, reinforcing IHG’s premium presence in France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Türkiye.
Since its launch in 2018, voco has become a standout in IHG’s portfolio, recently celebrating the milestone of 100 open hotels globally. The brand’s appeal lies in its laid-back spirit, thoughtful design, and conversion-friendly model that allows owners to quickly join IHG’s enterprise platform with minimal upfront investment.

The new signings include:
- voco Parma & Congressi (Italy) – Opening in early 2026 with 166 rooms, wellness facilities, and over 850m² of meeting space.
- voco The 7 – Lisbon (Portugal) – A 71-room city-center hotel debuting in the first half of 2026.
- voco Rome Villa Borghese (Italy) – A 154-room property near Villa Borghese Park, opening mid-2026.
- voco Valladolid City (Spain) – An 80-room upscale hotel in central Valladolid, launching in 2026.
- voco Nantes (France) – A 127-room hotel opening in December 2028, located near Nantes train station and Cité des Congrès.
These additions join voco’s existing footprint of 35 open and 22 pipeline properties across Europe, including voco Podgorica in Montenegro, voco Malta, and voco Milan, Fiere.
