Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality company, has announced the signing of a new Gateway hotel in Dwarka, New Delhi. The 158-key property will be the brand’s first in the capital city and is set to anchor The Omaxe State, India’s first integrated sports-cum-commercial arena, developed in partnership with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
Strategically located in Sector 19B, Dwarka, the hotel will offer panoramic views of the upcoming Bharat Vandana Park and benefit from proximity to India’s largest convention centre and a future international cricket stadium. The signing reinforces IHCL’s commitment to expanding its footprint in high-growth urban micro-markets.
“Gateway Dwarka, New Delhi will strengthen our presence in this dynamic region,” said Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL. “Its location within a world-class sports and lifestyle ecosystem will drive significant demand across business, leisure, and social segments.”
A Contemporary Urban Retreat
The hotel will feature:
- An all-day diner, specialty restaurant, and bar
- A spa, fitness centre, and swimming pool
- Over 25,800 sq. ft. of banqueting space for conferences and events
- A Member’s Club with exclusive dining venues, lounges, and sports facilities
Designed to complement the vibrant lifestyle of The Omaxe State, the hotel will cater to both domestic and international travellers seeking premium hospitality in a dynamic setting.
The Omaxe State: A Visionary Development
Spread across 50 acres, The Omaxe State is envisioned as a world-class sports and lifestyle hub, inspired by global benchmarks such as Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London and Accor Arena in Paris. The development will include:
- ICC and FIFA-standard multi-sports stadiums

“Partnering with IHCL is a proud moment for us,” said Mohit Goel, Managing Director, Omaxe Ltd. “This collaboration elevates the experience for visitors, residents, and sports enthusiasts alike.”
