The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality group, has unveiled two new luxury resorts under its SeleQtions brand in the beautiful Lakshadweep island: Bangaram Island Resort and Coral Pearl, Lakshadweep SeleQtions. These openings mark a significant milestone in IHCL’s commitment to pioneering new destinations and promoting responsible tourism across India2.
A New Chapter in Island Hospitality
Set against the backdrop of the Arabian Sea, the 60-key Bangaram Island Resort offers eco-friendly stays just steps from soft white sands and crystal-clear waters. Guests can indulge in coastal cuisine crafted with fresh local ingredients, including regional Lakshadweep specialities and global favourites.
The resort’s design and operations reflect IHCL’s ethos of sustainability and local engagement, providing a tranquil escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
Coral Pearl, Luxury Glamping in Nature’s Lap
Just a short distance away, Coral Pearl, Lakshadweep SeleQtions features 50 luxurious glamping tents, each designed as a sanctuary of comfort amidst lush greenery and sea views.
Guests can enjoy all-day dining at Smok, which offers a culinary journey through island flavours, or unwind at Calypso, a vibrant bar inspired by Lakshadweep’s deep-sea legends.
