Hyatt Hotels Corporation has officially opened the doors to Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, marking the brand’s highly anticipated return to the city and its seventh property in the Malaysian capital. Positioned in the heart of KL Midtown, the hotel is set to become a premier destination for conventions, leisure travel, and culinary excellence.
A Strategic Location for Business and Leisure
Located just steps from the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), the country’s largest event venue, the hotel offers seamless access to Kuala Lumpur’s business district, cultural landmarks, and entertainment hubs. Its proximity to major freeways and prestigious neighbourhoods like Mont Kiara and Dutamas makes it ideal for both international visitors and local guests.
Designed by Kengo Kuma: A Fusion of Nature and Sophistication
The hotel’s architecture, crafted by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, reflects a harmonious blend of natural materials and contemporary design. Wood, stone, and paper are used throughout to create a serene yet dynamic atmosphere, embodying Kuma’s philosophy of lightness, transparency, and environmental care.
“We are delighted to introduce Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur at KL Midtown, a hotel that redefines urban hospitality through exceptional design, thoughtful amenities and an unparalleled location,” said Till Martin, General Manager.
