Hilton Hotels is set to exceed 250 luxury and lifestyle properties throughout the Asia Pacific, reinforcing its position as a leading force in upscale hospitality. With over 160 hotels currently trading in the region, Hilton plans to expand its portfolio by at least 50% in the coming years, driven by increasing demand for experience-led travel.
This regional milestone follows Hilton’s global achievement of reaching 1,000 luxury and lifestyle hotels, with nearly 500 more in the pipeline. Recent openings in Hong Kong, Qingdao and Osaka underscore the brand’s momentum, including the debut of Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho and Waldorf Astoria Osaka.
Upcoming Openings and Strategic Growth
Within the next 12 months, Hilton will unveil several high-profile properties:
- Waldorf Astoria Shanghai Qiantan
- Canopy by Hilton Shanghai Belfry Plaza
- KROMO Bangkok, Curio Collection by Hilton
- Kahavadi Chiang Rai, Curio Collection by Hilton
- Nivata Koh Samui, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Further ahead, Waldorf Astoria Bali will debut in 2027 as the brand’s first property in Indonesia, while NoMad Singapore and Canopy by Hilton Makati are scheduled to open in 2026.
Expanding Across the Region
Hilton’s development pipeline includes seven new Waldorf Astoria properties in Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Sydney, Xi’an, Tokyo, Delhi and Bali. Conrad Hotels & Resorts will expand in Jaipur, Kuala Lumpur, Nagoya, Bangkok and several cities across China. LXR Hotels & Resorts will debut in Bengaluru, Hiroshima and Xi’an, while Signia by Hilton will launch in India. Curio Collection by Hilton and Canopy by Hilton will also grow in destinations such as Bengaluru, Wuxi, Langkawi, Bangkok and Okinawa.

Global Strategy and Partnerships
Hilton’s acquisition of a majority stake in Sydell Group has accelerated the global rollout of the NoMad brand. Additionally, its exclusive partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World gives Hilton guests access to hundreds of boutique luxury properties worldwide.
In 2025 alone, Hilton expects to add 150 luxury and lifestyle hotels globally, averaging three new openings per week, further solidifying its leadership in the premium hospitality segment.
