Grand Hôtel Stockholm has announced a strategic partnership with Nordic Angels, the region’s largest network of private investors. As part of the collaboration, Grand Hôtel becomes a Category Partner for the Angel Prize, and will host exclusive events and digital activations with Nordic Angels, further cementing its role as a hub for international trade, innovation, and influence.
Founded in 2020 by Ash Pournouri and Andreas Grape, Nordic Angels is an invitation-only network that connects business angels across the Nordics through a digital platform focused on capital, competence, and community. The network has rapidly grown into a central force in the region’s startup ecosystem, supporting founders and investors alike.
“When Régis Cadier opened Grand Hôtel in 1874, his ambition was to create a meeting place for international trade. That idea still lives on today,” said Pia Djupmark, CEO of Grand Hôtel Stockholm. “This partnership is a natural extension of our legacy, where today’s leaders meet tomorrow’s entrepreneurs.”
The collaboration will elevate the Angel Prize, Nordic Angels’ flagship event celebrating entrepreneurial excellence, into a premier gathering for the region’s most influential investors, innovators, and thought leaders.
“Our members expect the highest quality in everything we do,” said Andreas Grape, CEO of Nordic Angels. “Partnering with Grand Hôtel allows us to take the Angel Prize to the next level, creating an exclusive meeting place for those shaping the future of the Nordics.”
“To meet the challenges of rapid technological development and infrastructure transformation, we must collaborate across borders,” added Ash Pournouri, Chairman of Nordic Angels. “This partnership is a step toward building those solutions together.”
With existing ties to the Wallenberg ecosystem and a legacy of hosting cultural and business icons from the Polar Music Prize to Brilliant Minds, Grand Hôtel continues to unite culture, commerce, and creativity under one roof.
