Hilton has officially launched Conrad Hamburg, marking the Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand’s debut in Germany. Located in the heart of Hamburg’s city centre, the hotel is housed within the historic Levantehaus, a 1912 Art Nouveau landmark that now blends heritage architecture with contemporary luxury.
A Tribute to Art, Culture, and Hanseatic Elegance
Conrad Hamburg features 283 guest rooms and suites, including 28 studios with kitchenettes and 29 suites. The interiors draw inspiration from Hamburg’s maritime and industrial heritage, with rich palettes of deep blue, copper, and warm grey. The hotel’s Presidential Suite, spanning 232 square metres, offers a private balcony, fireplace, and expansive living areas, setting a new benchmark for luxury in the city.
The hotel also showcases a curated collection of German contemporary art, with installations from emerging and established artists. A standout feature is Ada Isensee’s coloured leaded glass ceiling, visible from every floor and serving as a vibrant centrepiece that connects the hotel’s spaces.
“With Conrad Hamburg, we’re making a statement about our commitment to Europe’s most iconic destinations,” said Simon Vincent CBE, President, EMEA, Hilton. “Hamburg’s maritime heritage and cultural vibrancy make it the ideal setting for Conrad’s distinctive approach to luxury hospitality.”
Wellness and Events with a Refined Edge
Guests can enjoy a 1,000-square-metre spa and fitness centre, featuring Hamburg’s longest indoor pool, a sauna, steam bath, and luxury treatments. The hotel also offers nine event venues, including flexible boardrooms and conference spaces accommodating up to 220 guests, supported by an executive lounge and natural light throughout.
GRETA OTO: A Latin American Culinary Journey
The hotel’s signature restaurant, GRETA OTO, brings a bold Latin American flair to Hamburg’s dining scene. Named after a transparent-winged butterfly, the restaurant offers:
- Peruvian ceviche
- Brazilian beef tenderloin
- Grilled octopus
- Freshly prepared guacamole
With seating for 110 guests indoors and 48 on the courtyard terrace, GRETA OTO combines elegant design with vibrant energy, creating a dynamic social hub that evolves throughout the day.
Conrad Hamburg joins Hilton’s growing luxury portfolio in Europe and reinforces the brand’s commitment to delivering immersive, artful, and culturally rich experiences in iconic destinations.
