The Oberoi Group revealed plans to launch four new luxury hotel projects in India. This strategic expansion underscores the group’s commitment to strengthening its presence in both leisure and urban markets under the Oberoi and Trident brands.
Gir, Gujarat – The Oberoi, Gir: A boutique 20-key luxury wildlife retreat nestled within a 40-acre mango orchard near Gir National Park, home to the Asiatic lion.
Hyderabad, Telangana – The Oberoi, Hyderabad: A 220-key luxury hotel located in Knowledge City, a prominent commercial hub.
Nandi Hills, Karnataka – Trident, Nandi Hills: A 150-key hotel in the scenic hills north of Bengaluru, catering to leisure and business travellers.
Fort Aguada, Goa, Trident, Fort Aguada: A 170-key hotel near the iconic 17th-century fort, blending heritage with modern hospitality.
A Robust Development Pipeline
These additions form part of EIH Limited’s ambitious pipeline of 25 properties slated for completion by 2030. This includes:
- 22 hotels and 3 luxury boats
- 16 properties in India and 9 international locations including London, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia
- 2,033 new keys across the portfolio
- 18 hotels under the Oberoi brand and 7 under Trident
Of these, eight hotels will be owned or co-invested in by EIH Limited, while 17—including two Dahabeyas and one Nile cruise will be operated under management contracts.
