With over 15 years of distinguished leadership in luxury hospitality, Ila is a recognised voice in hotel operations, service innovation, and guest experience excellence across India, the UAE, and Oman. Currently serving as the Cluster Hotel Manager at Signature Group of Hotels in Dubai, Ila oversees the operations of three high-performing properties across Barsha Heights, Marina, and Al Barsha managing nearly 500 keys in one of the world’s most competitive hospitality markets.

Throughout her career, Ila has successfully led diverse, cross-cultural teams within world-class hospitality organisations. Her 12-year tenure with The Oberoi Group of Hotels & Resorts culminated in receiving the prestigious CEO Award at The Trident Bandra Kurla, Mumbai, recognising her exceptional leadership and operational excellence. Ila’s regional expertise expanded during her time with the Barceló Hotel Group in Dubai, where she played a key role in the pre-opening of three properties across Dubai and Sharjah. She later transitioned to Muscat, Oman, where she was entrusted with overseeing a large-scale, 1,500-rooms hospitality and retail development, further cementing her reputation as a strategic and results-driven leader in the industry.

A compelling and pragmatic speaker, Ila brought front-line insights into operational transformation, leadership in multicultural environments, talent development, and aligning service delivery with commercial performance. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of hospitality professionals, she also served as an online instructor with Wings of Change, a vocational hotel school for underprivileged students in Madagascar.
